Hope Haven Ministries

Helping the Homeless Help Themselves

Day Center

The Day Center was opened in an unused building beside our Men's Ministry the first of July, 2003. The Day Center was established to offer the transient homeless a place to eat, wash clothes, take a shower and rest. Along with these immediate life needs, we also share the message of Jesus Christ with the broken and hurting that come in from the stresses of living on the street.

The greatest gift we can offer our fellow man is a life dedicated and empowered by the Holy Spirit. With God’s Vision in mind for the lost we need to be in prayer every day asking God to open doors for us to share Jesus Christ with them. As we see the eternal value in their lives from God’s perspective, what else do we have to offer them but the life-changing message and hope that can only be found in salvation? D. L. Moody, the great evangelist that was the founder of Moody Bible College, in Chicago, IL, made a commitment to the Lord to tell at least one person a day about the Saving Grace of his Lord. Because of that choice, tens of thousands of men, women, and children are celebrating eternity. Let's become a part of sharing Christ with the lost.
