Hope Haven Ministries

Helping the Homeless Help Themselves

Volunteer Opportunities

Hope Haven Ministries relies heavily on volunteers from the greater Kingsport area. From individuals to small and large groups, we welcome the enthusiasm and compassion volunteers bring this ministry. Being part of someone's recovery and spiritual growth is truly a gift to our volunteers and donors. Many say they receive far more than they give as they offer a hand to the homeless.

  • Check-in Kits

Help us give each new resident a kit containing soap, shampoo, antiperspirant, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shaving cream, and other personal hygiene items.

  • Towel Drive

Collect new bath, hand and face towels for our residents.

  • Provide-a-Meal

Provide a dinner at the mission. Prepare and bring in food to help us feed our residents any evening or on weekends. If you wish to do this, it will be helpful if you will coordinate your date and time with the Director at 423-246-6012.

  • Education Scholarships

Provide the funds for Bibles, study guides and class materials for those enrolled in the New Life Program. Or pick up a list and do the shopping for us.

  • Chapel Services

Participate in or lead an evening Bible study. Provide a drama or music program for the residents. Share your talents!

We are open to your creative ideas for helping us serve the homeless. If you would like to help in the expansion of the Women and Children’s Shelter, let us know. Please contact the Director at 246-6012 with your ideas or questions.

For more information contact us at 423.246.6012 or hopehavenkpt@embarqmail.com.
